so tuesday was immunology poster presentation.
more like a exhibition kinda thing.
students standing ard their posters, and waiting for lecturers to come access us.
all MB year 2 students are there with their posters and Fs year 1 students with their modified food. formal wear was the attire. my grp consists of 3 guys, so i intended to wear a tie, but they ask me to take it out, even the others oso say i look better without. anyways, presenting my grp mate. (: and that blue poster behind belongs to us. (:

memories of pri sch.
rushed off to jp after trip to chinatown for primary school gathering. but by the time i got there, they are done with dinner and off to another location for some catching up. so yup. and it's really cool to see how each and every one of us has grown into something else, but yet, not losing themselves in a way. and how zihui can rmb like every single detail of particular stuff that happens in our class before. and thinking abt how we used to classify ourselves after we graduated, was the stc gang, the cresent gang and the smart pple. for that's where the majority went to.

was searching for pri sch class photo. but i cldnt find the p6 one. if i didnt rmb wrongly, i think for that yr there isnt any photo taking. so yup, found the p5 one instead. anyone, these pple were stuck tgt for 2 yrs. ((:

so yest was just going out in the morning with classmates to peace centre to get our poster printed, and i realise that i shirt i intended to wear for presentation on wed was actually a short sleeve. the rest is either not white or not formal enough for presentation. damn.

head down to chinatown and meet mum, aunt and cousin to shop ard. apparently they have so much more stores as compared to previous years. and there's really lots of interesting stuff ard. just by looking at how much chinatown has changed and stuff.. and i feel like a tourist, not only looking at stuff, but going ard taking photos. hahas. so here are some that i took.

these 'nian gao' are really huge. like the size of a small birthday cake. and according to the person selling it, if you were to keep it in the fridge, it could last for a year!



i rmb grandpa used to have one of those 'stamp' with his chinses name curved on it. was wonder if it's our at grandma's for grandpa has past away for more than 10yrs? and my mum ask me to ask him for it. -_-''


and cuz it's the year of the rat, and that rat makes people think of mickey and minnie mouse. this year's theme over at chinatown apparently got to do with him, and other disney characters.

kinda scary eh? that's like what i have to hand in on monday. the amount of wrkload is really really scary. and i'm only like half done. just done with my part of protein etutorial, just gotta print it out and collate with zhikang's part. the part that i gotta do for marketing proj is the creating promotion part, 3 to create. doing tgt with karen but apparently not free to do. so yea. did abit of the write up just now, and finish up with the 2nd promotion idea that i had. left with the last one, and maybe abit of editing after alvin had seen the write up. havent start studying for bioprocess quiz. done with protein tech report. and done 2 out of 3 of immunology tutorial. okay, so that's like more than half done? and it's alr 2.29am. tired tired.

went out with the girls in the evening. shall blog abt that some other day, or after i get the photos frm them. (:

so end up waking up late for sch. still managed to get a shower, had breakfast and reach sch at 1130am, and i'm still early. hahas. apparently everyone was later.

okay. so bioprocess website proj is done. and that some of the stuff has been submitted, left to amend and the presentation. this are wat has yet to be completed.

1. marketing proj on quaker oatmeal (next fri)
2. protein technology PBL assignment (due wk 15. which is 3 wks ltr)
3. protein technology e-tutorial (next tues)
4. medical micro presentation wk 15
5. immunology presentation next wk.

1 is only halfway done. 2 just started last wk. and 3, havent even started at all.
4 and 5 are done except the speech for presentation. so not much to worry abt.

just a note, mybody is still not used to slping and waking up early, am still having problems waking everyday to go to sch now. so i'm actually kinda screwed with the lack of sleep everyday. and it's 1130pm already, but am not tired at all. damn!

okay. i was suppose to be sch by 12. and got up only at 1050am. rush and all, was abt to leave when dad just woke up. so i took a lift frm him to cck. and i got sch by 1210? fast huh. so doing proj in sch was.. boring. how interesting can it be with the slow internet connection.

me and vin left abt 4 to meet up with yx, esther, eunice and jerold for a movie. mr magorium's wonder emporium. a movie abt believing in urself. quite alright, just that ending kinda left hanging. not as bad as wat sis said abt it. dinner at ljs, before the rest left. and off to meet aqilah. thx esther and jerold for waiting with me. (:

and royce choc was cool, just abit too sweet. (:

and damn. sis not going out on fri night, so means i cant bring the psp out. and i have yet to get the suspenders!! new specs only ready by tmr 7pm. and i think i dont have time to get both. ):
meeting classmates at 2pm for bowling, then off to wrk. might be going down watch the match before bowling, and might be able to get suspenders at jp too. hahas. shall see what's the plan tmr. (:

friday
it was bowling outing after wrk. and i realise that no one takes photo or anything? hahas. okay. and my highest was 103 so far. (: played one game, wanted stay for another, but was getting late. so got a cab home and wooh! it's freaking expensive. back home before 2 i guess?

saturday
went down bugis with mum to get my specs done. got a red frame. ((:
shop ard abit, meet up with sis then down to pungol to aunt's hsewarming party.
she've got nice living room. spacious and windy. sis went off to meet her friends at vivo.
and i followed parents home.

sunday
was just rotting at home before heading to wrk.

monday
so finally it's christmas eve.
meet sis for lunch. wanted get my suspenders, but they dont have it in clementi.
and i think all parents get cranky during festive seasons.
there's so many other days for them to make a big fuss out of us kids, but it always get worst on festive season. and apparently my family wasnt the only one who gets festive cranky parents. my other cousins got it too. so christmas eve wasnt a merry one for the kids.
had a lil fun though, for we had this dress up party, theme, superheros.
i wasnt really in the mood for dressing up, so i turned up as D.L hawkins. one of this character in the series, heroes, in my construction suit. haha. shall post up some photos of wat the other dressed up as. some of them are really good. imagine one as ninja turtle, and the other captain underpant. (:

mum finally allowed to wach movie with cousins after that stupid big fuss abt it. watched dan in real life. quite alright for a family kinda movie. got home only abt 230? goddad went to pick us up after our movies and drove us to newton for supper before sending us home. imagine if we were to on the meter in his cab, it will cost us a bomb! haha. slept only abt 4.

tuesday
so today's christmas. no plans for today, except that i have to finish up the proj by tmr. great.
